Cucurbits

Against the advice of the gardening books (they recommend 2- 3), we planted six courgette plants last summer - and spent the rest of summer trying to find new ways of cooking courgette! The best by far was the relish recipe and it's cheered up many a dull winter dish.

Watercolour on Arches 140lb paper.

  2. Yum! Are you going to share this recipe. lol!
We made the same mistake last year and had courgettes coming out of our ears! Also 24 huge cabbages, all ready at once!
I did a couple of small sketches as they grew, but nothing as good as this :0)
