Cashel Bay Rhodedendrons I
Just back from a week spent painting in connemara - bliss!
Regarded as a noxious weed by most westerly gardeners, this lovely wild one is a true alien invader. Nothing can stand up to its rampant growth as it takes over the garden. I love the flowers in May and the way the light slides through the leaves .. but I wouldn't have it in my garden!
