Hawthorn in Cashel, midwinter

The new year has gotten off to a good start and in these climes, it almost feel like spring. So it seems a pity to post something with midwinter in the title, but this was done over the Christmas holidays in Cashel. The winter has its own magic too and I wanted to capture that in this one. The hawthorn in the garden is gnarled and bare and stands up well to those atlantic gales.

  1. This is wonderful! I really love how you did this! It's so fresh and pleasing to the eye, and creative!
